In other words, faith begins with a mental activity but is also an experience that we have because of the choices we are making. And if we do so, it will put us in the substance of the reality of the things that we are hoping for.

In the book of Hebrews chapter 11, we can see the great men and women in the Bible who expressed great faith as they faced certain circumstances. But these men and women did not just put their trust in God without doing their part, these people expressed their great faith with actions. Let us look at some of these examples.
- Noah’s faith in action in building the Ark (Hebrews 11:7)
7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith, he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
During this time, Noah and his family were mocked, shouted at, condemned, and even considered crazy people when they chose to follow God’s command to build an ark. Even moments before the great typhoon, no one still believed and followed them. But with great faith coupled with action, Noah built an Ark in obedience to God’s command to save his family.
